The Human Perimeter

The independent voice of the human perimeter.

The cybersecurity industry has spent decades calling people the weakest link. We think they got it backwards.

People are not the vulnerability. They are the perimeter.

The Human Perimeter is an independent podcast and the flagship project of Webnestify Education, a non-profit mission dedicated to the belief that digital safety is a human right, not a product.

Every major breach follows the same script. Not some genius exploit or a zero-day nobody saw coming. It starts with a person. Someone clicks a link. Someone reuses a password. Someone trusts a voice on the phone that sounds exactly like their boss. Because now it can.

The technology keeps getting better. The firewalls get smarter. The attacks still get through because they stopped aiming at the machines a long time ago. They aim at us.

That is what this podcast is about.

A show about where security holds.

The Human Perimeter is a show about the place where security breaks down. And where it holds. The human layer. We talk about phishing, social engineering, insider threats, deepfakes, and the reasons people fall for things they would catch on a better day.

Each episode starts with a simple question: What's the perimeter today?

We do not sell fear. We do not hype threats to move products. This show is entirely independent, sponsor-free, and supported by the Webnestify Education mission. Two people with the right experience decided to spend their time doing the right thing: ensuring more people learn to protect themselves before something goes wrong.

Simon Gajdosik is the founder of Webnestify Education. He has spent years on the infrastructure side of cybersecurity, building servers, locking them down, and cleaning up when things go sideways. He started this mission because he kept watching the same pattern: people getting hit by attacks that five minutes of the right education could have prevented. While he runs Webnestify, a strategic cloud agency, his work on this podcast is strictly an independent, educational pursuit.

Andre Daus is an independent consultant based in Cologne, Germany, who spent over twenty-five years getting organizations to confront the questions they would rather skip. His background is in banking and financial risk, but he built his reputation on one thing: walking into a room and asking why everyone assumed they were safe. He applies Red Team thinking: the adversarial mindset that stress-tests assumptions before reality does. He also hosts Iconoclast Insights.

Simon knows how the attacks work and how the infrastructure fails. Andre knows why people fall for things and what it takes to make questioning feel normal instead of uncomfortable.

One builds the wall. The other asks why everyone assumed it was strong enough.

The people who understand cybersecurity tend to be technical, wealthy, or both. Everyone else figures it out alone. Kids, seniors, and small businesses are often left to navigate a hostile digital world without a map.

We believe digital safety is a right. Education is the strongest first line of defense, stronger than any firewall or six-figure security budget. A person who knows what to look for is the perimeter that holds.

Every second Tuesday. 18:00 CET. Live on YouTube.

We record new episodes live on YouTube every second Tuesday at 18:00 CET. Tune in and your questions in the chat get answered on air. The recording goes up on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and via RSS the same evening.

Each episode follows the same shape:

  1. The main topic: a story, a breach, a pattern, a question.
  2. Audience Q&A: live questions and listener stories.
  3. What's Your Move?: one concrete thing you can do this week to protect yourself, your family, or your business.

Episodes run 30 to 60 minutes, sometimes up to 75 if the conversation earns it. Biweekly schedule.
